Profile
UNICEF GenU 9JA (Production Unlimited Nigeria) is a public-private-youth collaboration operational base established by UNICEF Nigeria Country Workspace to assist UNICEF Nigeria’s program supply outcomes at scale for children and young people. Primary concentrating on assisting young Nigerians successfully transition from learning to obtaining, UNICEF GenU 9JAaims to assist 20 million young people, aged 10-24, entry network access, digital learning, 21st Century competencies and/or livelihood avenues by 2030. UNICEF GenU 9JA crowds in public and private associates in addition to young people with the goal to co-produce creative strategies to be executed by all associates at scale in assist of all UNICEF Nigeria’s program.
Objective of the Task
Under the oversight of the Head of Site workspace in Lagos, Nigeria, the incumbent will assist UNICEF's catalytic position during the formation of UNICEF GenU 9JA, oversee the GenU 9JA ongoing projects (i.e. Unilever FUCAP, GESP P2E, SAP, Botnar Foundation, etc.) and develop YOMA Nigeria. The Program Expert will be in charge of coordinating UNICEF GenU 9JA’s financial plan and capital raising needs, as suitable. She/He will chair GenU 9JA’s Special team 2 on Office Preparedness, and collaborate with all GenU 9JA associates and young champions, the Young People’s Action Team, the U-Documentation Expert and all program sections and the Creative invention Manager to guarantee a smooth assist to UNICEF’s programming.
