Head of financial operations & Plan at Glovo Nigeria in Lagos

Duties The Journey:

• Be the Chief operator's right-hand in any strategic and financial decision
• Establish jointly with the Chief operator the long-term targets of the country
• Set and evaluate every quarter country and department targets based on long-term targets
• Execute ongoing corporate plan throughout the yearly organizing cycle both at country and city level
• Collaborate with cross-operational teams (processes, promotion, finance, procurement, and business-related) to guarantee a lucrative and error-free implementation, and to formulate profit evaluation for new creative thoughts/businesses
• Study the viability - documentation of investments/projects, strategic reorientation, etc
• Head cross-operational projects to enhance profit margin
• Evaluate business effectiveness and measure KPIs, recognizing concerns and possibility advancement avenues
• Organize and show every month, every quarter, and yearly finance and accounting documentation and evaluation (P&L and BS).
• Collaborate with Worldwide Finance Teams (Invoicing, Treasury, Accounting, etc) to solve any daily concerns and ensure 100% fulfillment of Nigeria’s clients, associates, and couriers in any topic connected with finance
• Oversee treasury operation and ensure most effective money movement
• Organize the project setup of Balance sheet and income statement
• Head the connection with third parties: external auditors, administrations, external advisors,
• Evaluate standardized processes and external audit - Supporting to the ongoing development of the methods supporting initiatives to possible challenges found and reducing documented guide duty
• Enhance the economic policy of the organization: VAT tax expertise, IIBB Multi-party Accord
• Answer to the Chief operator with a dotted line to the African head of financial operations & Plan
