The expert will collaborate with our content, Public relations, and promotion teams to guarantee press releases not only reach the right publications but also produce meaningful coverage and corporate identity visibility.

Primary duties

• Prepare, refine, and proofread press releases to match with corporate identity communication tone and marketing targets.
• Recognize and sustain connections with reporters, editors, and media outlets across Africa and internationally.
• Oversee allocation through press release wires, direct outreach, and online Public relations channels.
• Formulate tailored media lists for specific declarations and target markets.
• Track coverage, measure allocation effectiveness, and documentation outcomes with practical findings.
• Work alongside brand and communications teams to combine Public relations endeavors into broader marketing.
• Track market trends, rival press activity, and emerging media avenues.
• Verify that every press releases meet industry guidelines, adhere with AP style, and are optimized for SEO.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Communications, Journalism, Brand communications, Promotion, or relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise composing and circulating press releases with measurable outcomes.
• Robust drafting and editing competencies with meticulousness.
• Understanding with media databases, Public relations resources, and wire solutions.
• Capability to build and sustain connections with media experts.
• Reliable corporate and schedule control competencies.
