Store officer at Jami Energy Limited in Ilupeju, Lagos

Position Objective

To oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and inventory in an structured and productive manner, making sure precision, safety, and responsibility in the organization’s stock.

Primary duties

• Accept, examine, and confirm incoming goods against dispatch notes and buy orders.
• Preserve precise records of inventory movement, which includes issuance and receipts.
• Arrange the storage of materials to guarantee easy availability and proper rotation (FIFO/FEFO where relevant).
• Track inventory levels and inform management of low or excess stock.
• Ensure proper labeling, wrapping, and safe storage of all items.
• Carry out consistent inventory counts and resolve discrepancies with records.
• Organize with procurement, finance, and other departments to guarantee prompt accessibility of materials.
• Preserve cleanliness and orderliness of the store or warehouse.
• Documentation impaired, expired, or obsolete inventory for suitable action.
• Follow all organisation rules, health, safety, and guard standardized processes.

Credentials & Qualifications

• At least an SSCE / OND in Business Management, Stock Chain, Logistics, or relevant field (Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Previous expertise in a storekeeping or stock leadership position is a plus.
• Expertise in stock management operational structures (documented guide or automated).
• Robust corporate, quantitative, and document-keeping competencies.
• Capability to operate independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Basic expertise in health and safety protocols in warehouse/storage environments.
