Entry-level Mechanical support technician at Ascentech Services Limited in Sagamu, Ogun

Role summary

We are looking for a Entry-level Mechanical support technician with 2 – 3 years of practical experience, preferably in the food production operations or associated industries. The successful applicant will assist the servicing & maintenance, fix, and optimization of mechanical operational structures within our generation facility, making sure smooth and productive processes.

Primary duties

• Help in the servicing & maintenance and diagnosing issues of generation machinery and mechanical operational structures.
• Assist top level engineers and technicians in executing enhancements to tools and methods.
• Carry out standard procedure inspections to recognize and settle possibility mechanical concerns.
• Work alongside generation and quality teams to preserve tools reliability and product standard.
• Guarantee adherence with safety, health, and quality benchmarks during all servicing & maintenance initiatives.
• Engage in the installation and initiating of new tools as needed.

Credentials

• Technical Certification or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Tech, or a relevant field.
• 2 – 3 years of related experience in a production operations or food processing environment.
• Good analytical abilities and a practical approach.
• Basic expertise in mechanical operational structures, resources, and servicing & maintenance methods.
• Capability to read and analyze technical drawings and documented guides.
• Robust dedication to safety and collaboration.
