Position Overview

Operating closely with the Top level Corporate consultant, the Corporate consultant will play a vital function in the Plastics Recycling Program in Nigeria (PReP) by monitoring professional guidance and carrying out all programme initiatives and development solutions to recipients, while also coordinating official and informal relationship building and linkages with various participants. S/he will coordinate business linkages, collect market intelligence, and track results. The duty outlined below are the primary duties of the corporate consultant, however, the employee will be anticipated to execute any duty that are necessary inside the circumstance of the continuously adapting needs of the project.

Project execution:

  • Carry out or track the execution of the project's digital plan, making sure recipient adoption and relation.
  • Coordinate development sessions for recipients, supervising presence and relation to guarantee compliance to programme standard procedures.
  • Offer critical linkages between plastic collectors and aggregators, and between aggregators and recyclers.
  • Track the hired plastic collectors, aggregators, and recyclers to guarantee they are operating inside the terms and terms of the programme’s accord.
  • Engage in M&E, and learning initiatives, supporting to the programme's status updates and information exchange.
  • Guarantee alignment to the programme work strategize recognizing and mitigating risks to successful project execution.
  • Collate response from the programme recipients through the programme’s response mechanism.
  • Embody and advance TechnoServe’s values, aspiration, and plan, making sure these are combined into all programme initiatives.
  • Execute other obligations in line with the continuously adapting needs of the programme.

 Preferred Credentials:

  • Robust people skills with the capability to participate a variety of participants.
  • Competence in Office productivity software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); understanding with Comcare and KoBoCollect is advantageous.
  • Must possess robust people skills.
  • Exceptional verbal abilities, both documented and verbal.

Necessary Languages:

Clear articulation competencies in documented and spoken English. Competence in the local languages of Kano State is highly preferred.

Commute: 

A minimum of 40% with a readiness to commute to these networks.
