Midlevel Flutter Mobile engineer at Edves Digital Education in Lagos (Hybrid)

Position Overview

We are looking for an Midlevel Flutter Mobile engineer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This is a Hybrid position (2 days weekly in-field) where you will assist build and preserve premium quality, ability to scale, and user-friendly mobile apps. The preferred candidate should possess reliable practical experience with Flutter and Dart, a good comprehension of mobile application deploying methods, and the capability to supply for both iOS and Android channels.

Primary duties

• Formulate, test, and preserve cross-operational base mobile apps using Flutter and Dart.
• Execute and use RESTful APIs / HTTP requests productively.
• Oversee app deploying to Google Play Store, and Apple App Store.
• Combine and oversee Firebase solutions (push updates, data analysis, crashlytics, authentication, etc.).
• Enhance applications for effectiveness, responsiveness, and smooth UX*.
• Work alongside UI/UX professionals and backend developers to supply smooth mobile initiatives.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose issues, and settle concerns across various devices and operating operational structures.
• Compose clean, maintainable, and well-recorded code.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have applicable credentials.
• 2 - 4 years of industry experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Demonstrated expertise deploying apps to Google Play and Apple App Store (expertise in app signing, certifications, provisioning profiles, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of state management methods (e.g., Supplier, Riverpod, Bloc, GetX).
• Firm knowledge of HTTP requests, APIs, and JSON parsing.
• Practical experience with Firebase (Push Updates, Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Data analysis).
• Understanding with version regulate (Git).
• Comprehension of responsive User interface design and capability to adjust layouts across devices.
• Issue resolution mentality with meticulousness.
• Effective communication and partnership competencies.

Nice-to-Possess abilities:

• Expertise in native iOS/Android development (Swift, Kotlin, Java).
• Expertise with in-app buys or payment gateway integrations.
• Understanding with App Store Optimization (ASO).
