Gender Equality & Community-related Addition Expert at Rhizome Consulting in Abuja

Overview

• The GESI Expert will offer engineering guidance to combine gender equality and community-related addition across all program and projects.
• The position will make sure that interventions handle systemic obstacles, advance welcoming involvement, and supply transformative results for women, girls, persons with disabilities, youth, and other marginalised groups.
• The Expert will support to program design, regulatory framework support, capacity strengthening, and expertise production.
• They will also assist donor relation and proposal development to guarantee program are gender-responsive and socially welcoming.

Capacity Strengthening:

• Design and supply development, workshops, and training to strengthen employees and work collaboratively capacity on gender and addition.
• Formulate and circulate technical advisors, summaries, and practical assets for program teams.
• Offer ongoing technical backstopping to guarantee site teams submit application GESI principles in daily initiatives.

Teaching Qualifications

MSC in Gender Studies, Sociology, Development Studies, Community-related Regulatory framework, or a relevant field.

Preferred:

• Expertise linking gender equality and addition to WASH, health, climate adaptability, or compliance.
• Comprehension of gender-sensitive financial planning and capacity planning.
• Exhibited capability to shape regulatory framework and support to sector reforms.
• Expertise in insight-driven gender analysis.
