Site Service Engineer - Rotary Filling Machine at Sidel in Lagos

We are seeking a skilled Site Service Engineer to join our Service team and collaborate with Sidel high-speed Rotary Blowing, Filling, and Labeling machines. This position includes commuting across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific, assisting our worldwide customers with installation, servicing & maintenance, and diagnosing issues of improved tools.

Your Purpose:

• To Execute Installation, begin‐up, initiating of the Sidel Tools (Filler) supplied to client sites.
• Execute technical support during and after the warranty period, carry out development and other after sales solutions of Sidel’s tools installed at client sites.
• Ultimately, a good comprehension of the client needs is to be conceptualize to offer goal guidance and to guarantee client fulfillment.

Duties

• Installation, Certification & Running test and assess tools effectiveness at client plant, based on technical, binding and safety requirements.
• Operate on Mechanical operational structures, HMI for consistent initiatives and diagnosing issues as per Standard Operating Standardized processes.
• Implement electrical work (e.g., cable wiring)
• Properly manage, check, and move tools non-conformities.
• Organize Position Advancement Chart and technical documentation in letter of recommendation to carried-out initiatives.
• Ensure ultimate within and outside the organization client fulfillment.
• Execute initiatives in line with the Standard Operating Standardized processes (SOPs), Sidel synchronization strategy and client regulations.
• Documentation after sales avenues found on Client on-site.
• Mentor entry-level teammates on the in-field conduct, technical initiatives, diagnosing issues and status updates outputs.
• Answer to the Installation Base manager for team on-site initiatives.

Qualifications

• A degree holder in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 5 years experiences in site service environment.
• Experiences in high speed rotary filling machine PET.GLASS and CAN.
• Experiences in different application e.g., CSD (Carbonated), Human resources (Hot Filling), PH (Preferential heating), Aseptic, plasma coating tech PET, and others is a plus.
• English fluent, documented and spoken.
• Combined technical profile on Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics.
• Expertise in others Sidel tools or wrapping tools such Blowing and labeling machine is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge with the PLC (Siemens / B&R / ELAU) is a plus.
• Capable to commute (up to 90% in international environment)
