Hotel Kitchen Support at Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited in Ijokoro-Abule, Egba Axis - Lagos

Primary duties

• Help chefs in basic food project setup, which includes chopping vegetables, peeling, and portioning ingredients.
• Organize simple dishes with guidance, which includes salads and sandwiches.
• Ensure ingredients are properly washed, stored, and structured.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, and tools after use.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and preserve cleanliness in food storage zones.
• Follow hotel hygiene and food safety rules at all times.
• Track kitchen inventory and inform supervisors when restocking is needed.
• Arrange and store ingredients properly to prevent spoilage.
• Help in unloading and storing food supplies.
• Assist chefs during occupied service hours by fetching ingredients and managing simple duty.
• Ensure kitchen technical resources are promptly accessible and in operating requirement.
• Help in plating and visual communication of food as necessary.
