Corporate driver at Botmot Nigeria Limited in Abuloma, Rivers

Position Objective

The Driver is in charge of the safe, prompt, and productive transportation of meat, food items, and other crucial inventory from vendors/procurement suppliers to the organization warehouse, and for circulating finished goods and inventory to customer companies. The position ensures proper managing of spoiling goods, compliance to safety and hygiene guidelines, and aids smooth stock chain processes.

Primary duties

• Safely operate organisation vehicles to transport meat, food goods, and other inventory from vendors to organisation facilities.
• Supply goods to customer companies, making sure precision of dispatch according to bills/waybills.
• Load and unload items carefully, making sure proper managing of spoiling goods in line with hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Preserve precise dispatch data records, trip sheets, and fuel usage records.
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and in good operating requirement; promptly documentation any faults or servicing & maintenance needs.
• Follow organisation rules, road safety rules, and traffic legal provisions at all times.
• Help in checking the quality and quantity of procured items during pick-up and dispatch.
• Convey productively with warehouse, procurement, and processes teams to guarantee smooth process.
• Uphold the organization’s image through specialist carry out and outstanding client support during supplies.

Credentials & Qualifications

• At least SSCE / OND certification.
• Valid driving permit with a clean pushing document.This is very necessary
• Demonstrated expertise as a driver, ideally in FMCG, logistics, or food stock.
• Expertise in road safety rules and local routes.
• Capability to manage spoiling goods with care and follow hygiene guidelines.
• Clear expression and people skills.
• Physical stamina and capability to lift/load items as required.
• On time, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Must reside around Abuloma, Trans Amadi or Peter Odili.
• Should be capable to lead a documented guide car.
