Job Description
Position Overview
The Biomedical Engineer will offer preventative servicing & maintenance, repairs, and installation solutions to JNC customers for a extensive range of medical tools in the technical division.
Customer Management:
Enhance customer experience by offering guidance on industry standards of tools usage and servicing & maintenance culture. Minimizes radiation to patients & employees by practicing radiation protection methods, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and expertise in exposure factors. Protects customers by advising on compliance to infection-regulate rules and procedures, following drug procedures in case of reactions to drugs, which includes contrast media, managing first assist, and using the crisis cart.
Stakeholder engagement:
- Offer assistance and professional guidance to applicable business development team and employees across the company
- Support to business promotion & sales endeavors by offering assist as and when necessary
- Collaborate with the manager, project in any other allocated positions to supply every month, every quarter, and yearly expected territories of coverage
- Engage in showcase events and professional forums of Healthcare Devices and Medical Exhibition/Seminars and Yearly Sessions of Medical Experts, e.g., Medic West Africa, etc.
- Engage in the collection, sorting, and storing of imported goods when necessary
- Engage In Room maintenance services of Goods to Preserve a Healthy and Safe Operating Environment.
Qualifications
- First Academic qualification (Bachelor's degree, BTech, Higher national diploma) in Engineering disciplines (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, etc.)
- 4 + years applicable professional background.
- Official member of COREN.
- Nysc completion document or exemption.
- Practical experience and expertise in electronics circuits and PLC.
- Often necessary to reach, pull, and/or utilize fine motor competencies during the installation, servicing, and servicing & maintenance.
- Occasionally necessary to bend, crouch, kneel, climb, balance, or otherwise maneuver body while servicing and/or evaluating tools.
