Job Description
Responsibility
To assist the execution and repetitive advancement of the MDS Quality, health, safety, and environment management operational structures in accordance with ISO guidelines, compliance obligations, and organizational guidelines, making sure safe, productive, and conforming processes in transportation and warehousing processes.
Key Effectiveness Zones
- Assist and check adherence with ISO guidelines and client quality qualifications.
- Assist in carrying out internal audits and inspections on warehouse and transport methods.
- Help in conceptualizing and preserving SOPs, work directions, and forms.
- Track and documentation non-conformities; assist corrective/preventive actions.
- Advance an environment that fosters ongoing development.
- Recognize and evaluate office risks (risk evaluations, JSAs).
- Carry out safety inductions, toolbox talks, and development sessions where necessary.
- Keep documentation for office incidents, injuries, and interventions.
- Assist ecological adherence and MDS ESG Plans execution.
- Guarantee alignment to ecological protection standardized processes (ISO 14001).
- Guarantee adherence with national Health, safety, and environment legal provisions and transport safety rules.
- Manage records and documentation for audits, inspections, and GEMBA Walk.
- Coordinate with compliance-related bodies as needed (e.g., FRSC, Ministry of Work).
- Preserve Quality, health, safety, and environment databases, data records, and dashboards.
- Distribute every month/every quarter SHERQ effectiveness data for documentation.
- Track key effectiveness indicators (KPIs), which includes the top and lagging indicators.
Credentials
- Bsc or Higher national diploma in Safety, Engineering, Ecological Science, or relevant field.
- ISPON Membership.
- Health, safety, and environment Level 2 & 3.
- NEBOSH IGC is a plus.
- ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
