Role description
A Hydraulic specialist in an HEV Utility Workshop specializes in the servicing & maintenance, diagnosing issues, fix, and installation of hydraulic operational structures and parts found in hybrid electric vehicles. This position requires a deep knowledge of hydraulic principles alongside expertise in HEV tech to guarantee productive process and safety of hydraulic operational structures combined with hybrid powertrains.
Primary duties
- Servicing & maintenance & Fix: Execute regular check, servicing & maintenance, and fix of hydraulic operational structures which includes hydraulic pumps, actuators, valves, and cylinders used in HEV utility vehicles.
- Diagnosing issues: Diagnose hydraulic system defeats or inefficiencies, using expert diagnostic resources and methods. Work alongside electrical and mechanical teams for unified framework diagnosing issues.
- Installation & Calibration: Install and calibrate hydraulic parts in hybrid utility vehicles, making sure proper consolidation with electrical and mechanical operational structures.
- Regulatory adherence: Verify that every hydraulic work follows with safety guidelines and workshop procedures, especially contemplating 12 & 24-voltage HEV environments.
- Recordkeeping: Preserve precise records of repairs, inspections, and system modifications. Offer technical documentation and response for ongoing development.
- Partnership: Collaborate with engineers, service technicians, and quality assurance teams to assist vehicle diagnostics, upgrades, and warranty work.
Work Environment:
- Workshop setting with exposure to hybrid electric vehicles and heavy machinery.
- Must follow rigid safety guidelines due to high-pressure hydraulic operational structures and 12&24-voltage parts.
- Practical, physical work including lifting, bending, and operating in confined spaces.
