About the Position
We are a top QSR in the Hospitality sector looking for a Procurement Executive to oversee procurement initiatives at our outstations. The Executive would visit key markets, Farms and supplier sites to find dependable vendors, bargain prices, and ensure items are bought on time and at good cost. The position also includes using Enterprise platform planning resources for processing buy orders and request, requires consistent commute to Recognize new vendors, supervising of vendor effectiveness and regular analysis/market survey to stay informed on price modifications.
Primary duties
- Analysis and recognize Farm Generate/items that are cheaper to buy in outstation regions or more cost-efficient to bring in from other regions
- Analysis and recognize markets and supplier hubs within your outstation to find quality vendors for all food and non-food items.
- Verify and register new vendors and distributors, making sure proper recordkeeping and adherence with organisation regulatory framework.
- Process routine outstation Procurement requisition and Buy Orders using the Enterprise platform planning system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Observe industry trends and price modifications routinely and distribute findings with the Procurement Manager.
- Keep proper records of all buys and organize with warehouse, stock, and finance teams for smooth procurement processes.
Credentials
- Academic qualification/Certification in Procurement, Stock Chain, Business Administrator, or relevant field.
- 3–4 years of related experience, ideally in QSR, hospitality, or FMCG.
- Site expertise with vendors in local and rural markets.
- Enterprise platform planning expertise (esp. Microsoft Dynamics 365) and robust bargaining ability.
- Competence in Excel and Word for status updates.
- Readiness to commute often and work with little to no supervision.
- Hausa or Yoruba fluency will be an added advantage, relying on the region.
