Position Overview

The Intercontinental Cook is in charge of getting ready and demonstrating multifaceted dishes from various worldwide cuisines, making sure high culinary guidelines and genuine flavors. The position includes producing menus that reflect international food cultures, coordinating kitchen processes, development employees, and preserving food safety and hygiene guidelines.

Menu Development:

• Design seasonal and themed menus highlighting worldwide culinary traditions.
• Introduce new food notions and fusion creative thoughts while preserving credibility.
• Organize with management on menu pricing and food expense management.

Kitchen Management:

• Oversee kitchen employees, entrusting duty for smooth processes.
• Track inventory levels, order inventory, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Preserve kitchen cleanliness and company.

Food Safety & Hygiene:

Ensure adherence to adherence with HACCP and other food safety rules. Ensure kitchen tools is properly cleaned, preserved, and safely operated.

Visitor Expertise:

Interact with guests when necessary, clarifying dishes and endorsing menu options. Collect input to enhance culinary offerings.

Credentials & Competencies

• Certification or Academic qualification in Culinary Arts or relevant field (International culinary development is a plus).
• 3 - 5 years demonstrated expertise as an Intercontinental Cook or in a similar position within hotels, resorts, or fine dining establishments.
• Competence in various international cuisines with robust creativeness in menu design.
• Outstanding executive guidance, schedule control, and planning abilities.
• Capability to operate in a high-pressure, dynamic kitchen environment.
• Expertise in food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
• Clear expression and people skills.
