Procurement specialist at Quantum Packaging Nigeria Limited in Ikeja, Lagos

About the Position

We are looking for a highly proficient and meticulous Procurement specialist requiring at least four (4) years of demonstrated expertise in procurement within a production operations environment. The preferred candidate will be in charge of procurement quality materials, coordinating vendor connections and making sure prompt and cost-efficient procurement in line with the organization's business needs.

Primary duties

• Formulate and execute efficient procurement plans to meet generation plans to meet generation and business qualifications.
• Recognize, assess and bargain with dependable suppliers and vendors to guarantee quality, on-time completion and cost effectiveness.
• Organize and process buy orders in adherence with organisation rules and guidelines.
• Preserve precise procurement records, which includes supplier information, agreements and buy recordkeeping.
• Observe industry trends, rival initiatives and product progress updates to enhance buying decisions.
• Work alongside internal departments (Generation, Finance, Logistics) to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• Guarantee adherence with compliance obligations and organisation rules in all procurement initiatives.
• Oversee supplier effectiveness through periodic reviews and ongoing development programs.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Stock Chain Management, Business Management, Procurement, or a relevant field requiring at least 4 years' practical procurement expertise in a production operations industry.
• Robust bargain, information exchange and vendor leadership abilities.
• Competence in procurement software and Ms office tools.
• Outstanding planning abilities and meticulousness.
• Capability to operate under pressure and meet rigid due dates.
