Work tasks
- Recognize dependable suppliers, bargain agreements, and oversee supplier connections to preserve a robust network excellent quality suppliers.
- Carry out market analysis to find possibility suppliers and assess their goods, prices, and quality.
- Track supplier effectiveness and settle any concerns connected with dispatch or product standard.
- Supervise the full scope of procurement process, from requisition to buying request production, making sure adherence with organisation rules.
- Acquire and evaluate quotes from suppliers, compare them, and organize evaluation documentation for strategic judgment.
- Collaborate with applicable departments to verify buy qualifications and requirements.
- Bargain pricing, terms, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable terms and reduce expenses without compromising on quality.
- Evaluate industry trends to expect changes in pricing and accessibility and endorse modifications to buying plans.
- Recognize cost-saving avenues through supplier merger, volume discounts, or alternative procurement.
- Track stock levels and organize with stock management teams to guarantee most effective inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Track orders and supplies, making sure all items are received in good requirement and on time.
- Collaborate with logistics vendors and internal teams to oversee shipping, customs, and allocation of goods.
- Organize buy orders, agreements, and preserve precise procurement records in line with organisation rules.
- Carry out consistent audits of procurement initiatives and preserve thorough recordkeeping.
- Organize documentation on procurement initiatives, which includes cost evaluation, vendor effectiveness, and procurement cycle times.
- Show procurement documentation and strategic guidance to top level management as necessary.
- Work alongside other departments, which includes accountto ensure smooth procurement and stock chain initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bsc in Business Management, Stock Chain Management, Procurement, or a relevant field.
- Accredited Specialist in Stock Management (CPSM), Accredited Buying Specialist (CPP), or similar,(preferred but not necessary).
- At least 4 years of expertise in procurement, stock chain, or a relevant field.
- Strongnegotiation competencies and meticulousness and reliability.
- Competence in procurement software.
- Expertise in stock chain and stock management principles.
- High flexibility and analytical abilities.
- Competence onsite software (MS Workspace Suite, Google Workspace).
- Capability to manage sensitive information withdiscretion,secrecy and competence.
