Wireline Engineer / Technician at Broadlog Support Services Limited in Port Harcourt, Rivers

Position Overview

Performs cased-hole and launch-hole wireline solutions which includes data recording, perforation, and well intervention. Ensures safe, productive, and premium quality processes to meet customer targets.

Primary duties

• Strategy and implement wireline roles which includes data recording (CBL/VDL, PLT, gamma-ray, neutron, resistivity), perforation, and fishing processes.
• Assemble, test, and calibrate wireline resources, pressure regulate tools, and surface operational structures before mobilization.
• Operate winch units, depth measurement operational structures, and purchase software with precision.
• Preserve authority of wireline under well pressure using lubricators, grease injection operational structures, and other pressure regulate devices.
• Oversee entry-level crew members and guarantee alignment to Health, safety, and environment guidelines.
• Diagnose and correct tools malfunctions in the site to reduce non-operational time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Higher national diploma in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or Petroleum engineer.
• 2–4 years’ site expertise in wireline data recording and well intervention.
• Expertise in pressure regulate tools, downhole resources, and data purchase operational structures.
• Valid BOSIET/HUET and H2S accreditation (for remote marine operations positions).
• Capability to operate in difficult environments and rotational plans.
