Overview

Jhpiego, affiliate of Johns Hopkins Tertiary institution, is the worldwide head for the multi-country, Gavi-financed SHARP project (covering Nigeria, Tanzania, and Côte d'Ivoire), is looking for a devoted HPV Vaccination Expert to assist the execution of the combined HPV vaccination bundle in Lagos State. The position includes responsibility for operating jointly with the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (SPHCDA), education and group participants, and healthcare vendors to guarantee successful execution of the intervention.

Duties

  • Assist and record biweekly/every month/every quarter sessions with locally-driven entities (CBOs), Ward Development Panels, faith based groups, and other local associates by getting ready schedules, taking minutes with clear action points, and checking in to guarantee concerns are settled.
  • Check in with achievement and output of locally-driven entities and record in project tracker, flag impending initiatives and due dates, and circulate brief on a weekly basis overviews so the project team sends all results on timetable.
  • Assist workplan and micro financial plan development; routinely compare activity execution and site level expenditures against the authorized strategize highlighting variances and endorsing corrective actions to keep projects on time and within financial plan.
  • Assist organizing, synchronization, and implementation of programme initiatives at the country and state levels.
  • Help with arranging sessions, development sessions, site visits, and other programme-associated events.
  • Preserve precise recordkeeping of programme initiatives, which includes presence sheets, activity documentation, and minutes of sessions.
  • Assist the tracking of activity timelines and outputs in partnership with the Programme team.

  • Offer managerial and logistical assist for site initiatives, which includes procurement requests, transport synchronization, and allocation of materials.
  • Assist the project setup of every month and every quarter documentation by offering activity overviews.
  • Execute any other duty as allocated by the manager.

Necessary Credentials

  • A Bsc in Community health, Community-related Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, or a relevant field.
  • At least 1–3 years of related experience assisting health or development programs.
  • Understanding with the healthcare operational structures and group systems
  • Competence in Ms office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Robust corporate and schedule control competencies with meticulousness.
  • Capability to convey productively and work well within a team.
  • Readiness to commute within project sites.
