Position Overview

  • The Lube Sales & Technical  Manager (LS&TM) – The role incumbent documentation to the Chief Business promotion / sales.
  • The Lube Sales and Technical Manager is in charge of pushing sales increase of lubricants by top business development endeavors, coordinating key
  • accounts, and supplying IT assistance to clients and the business development team.
  • The position requires robust sales strategic insight, specialized skill in lubricant applications, blending and a strong insight of market forces.
  • The Manager will collaborate with internal participants, blenders, OEMs, distributors, and final users to grow market distribute and improve client fulfillment.

Primary duties

  • Recognize and potential opportunity new lubricant clients across all organisation sales channels as well as pursue to produce new sales channels
  • Formulate and execute plans to grow lube sales across target segments through initiative-driven market relation. (e.g., automotive, industrial, marine, etc.).
  • Ensure retention of current clients through every month lubricant effectiveness assessments for the region.
  • Oversee current key accounts and distributor connections to guarantee client loyalty and income increase.
  • Set and track revenue goals, KPIs, and key indicators for the lubricant business.
  • Handle and settle client service issues or site effectiveness concerns in partnership with the technical team.
  • Coordinate with product development teams or OEMs for new product authorizations, qualifications, and requirements. Formulate the necessary standardized processes/documents that ensure mix.
  • Offer technical guidance on lubricant selection, application, and effectiveness to clients and associates.
  • Carry out market evaluation to track rival initiatives, client needs, and emerging practices.
  • Offer precise lube sales projection and inventory warehouses inside the region of coverage to meet sales forecasting and preserve a healthy reorder level
  • Track all Sales Senior leaders across the nation on lubricant sales effectiveness
  • Strategize direct and organize development of the internal team (which includes Sales officer, Attendants, vendors and distributors) and applicable staff for B2B clients
  • Deploy technical sales resources (lubes surveys, oil evaluation, technical guidance etc.) for key clients in your region.

Qualifications

  • A good Academic qualification in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering 
  • At least 8 - 12years post-graduation expertise possessing applicable expertise in promotion
  • Good discussing terms and public speaking
  • Robust product and sector awareness
  • Good Client relations management
  • ​Processes organizing, planning and predicting
