Position Overview

The Pizza specialist is in charge of getting ready, cooking, and demonstrating premium quality pizzas according to the organization’s recipes and guidelines. The position includes coordinating dough project setup, ingredient quality, oven process, and making sure food regulatory adherence while preserving speed and uniformity during service.

Primary duties

• Organize pizza dough, sauces, and toppings routine according to standard recipes.
• Operate and preserve pizza ovens, making sure accurate cooking times and temperatures.
• Track ingredient freshness and inventory levels, status updates shortages promptly.
• Ensure pizzas are cooked and delivered to high guidelines in taste and appearance.
• Preserve cleanliness and hygiene in the pizza station, adhering with food safety rules.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to guarantee smooth service during peak hours.
• Help with menu development and introduction of seasonal or expertise pizzas.
• Follow portion regulate and reduce food wastage.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise as a Pizza specialist or in a similar culinary position.
• Expertise in pizza-making methods (traditional, thin-crust, in-depth-dish, etc.).
• Understanding with different ovens (wood-fired, gas, electric).
• Robust meticulousness and dedication to quality.
• Capability to operate in a dynamic environment.
• Comprehension of food hygiene and safety rules.

Education & Expertise:

Culinary accreditation is a plus but not required. At least 2 years’ expertise in a specialist kitchen.

• Creativeness in conceptualizing new pizza recipes.
