General Accountabilities
- Directing and arranging the routine initiatives of the Stock Chain team, which includes Stock Supervisors, and making sure they execute the duty linked to their position
- Being in charge of the order, buy, inventory and freight management in the synchronization or in the project level, supervising and making sure an productive execution of the entire routine stock chain initiatives
- Supervising and making sure a smooth running stock management and the respect of the executed stock standardized processes, proposing modifications where needed.
- Being in charge of the stock DB and the accurate submitting and archiving of the stock recordkeeping in order to assurance the accessibility and the coherence of stock data
- Sharing information with clients, keeping them current regarding their orders status (BO verification) and urgency sorting procurement and transport according to their needs
- Collecting requests from the site, analysing causes and making corrective actions.
- In partnership with the Stock Manager (if any) and in synchronization with the Human resources department, directing the connected methods (hiring process, development/induction, update/post-review, assessment, possibility discovery, development and information exchange) of the employees under his/her duty in order to guarantee both the sizing and the amount of expertise necessary
- Informing the Supply chain and logistics Manager in case of any key problem and draws-up all necessary status updates, in order to keep current and dependable information that will assist in strategic judgment
- Executing any other duty inside the scope of his position, as directed by oversight and according to the needs of the purpose.
Qualifications
- Education: Crucial academic qualification and Specialisation in Logistics/Stock Chain Management
- Expertise Crucial: At least 2 years in Stock Chain Management & in the company of Stock Management & standardized processes.
- Preferred: Proven comprehension of MSF Site Logistics (General expertise in MSF Tools and Kits)
- Languages: Proficient in English language is crucial; Local language preferred
- Expertise: Computer literacy (word, excel, internet) is crucial.
- Skills: Result & Quality Onboarding, Collaboration and Teamwork, Behavioural Adaptive schedule, Dedication to MSF Principles, Stress Management.
