Development-operations Internship at eHealth4everyone in Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Development-operations Internship that will help in building operational operational structures that enhance clients’ expertise and work alongside software developers, system operators, and other IT team members to oversee code releases.

Duties

• Deploy product status reports and fixes.
• Ensure adherence to best Development-operations procedures in every aspect of the software development process.
• Recognize generation concerns and execute integrations that meet client needs.
• Implement and automate operational frameworks efficient, precisely, and securely.
• Build resources to reduce the occurrence of errors and enhance customer experience.
• Analysis, formulate and/or deploy software to combine with internal back-end operational structures.
• Execute root cause evaluation for generation errors and preserve a log of concluded causes and fixes.
• Explore and settle system problems on staging and generation environments.
• Formulate scripts to automate DB backup and restoration, application deploying, etc.
• Design standardized processes for system diagnosing issues, root cause evaluation and servicing & maintenance.
• Constantly evaluate system effectiveness in generation, diagnose issues reported concerns, and proactively recognize zones in need of optimization.
• Conceptualizing and pushing instantaneous supervising initiatives that offer visibility into on-site health and key effectiveness indicators.

Credentials and Competencies

• Academic qualification in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or other associated zones.
• Ability in Relational Database management, Capacity Management, Accessibility Management, Operational structures Design, and Consolidation, Operational structures Guard.
• Competence in Linux and Windows operating operational structures and shell scripting.
• Technical expertise operating with cloud technical solutions.
• Required location Abuja.
• Practical understanding of MS Workspace is a plus.
• Operating comprehension of Load balancing technical solutions.
• Operating comprehension of IT service management.
• Operating comprehension of version regulate resources which includes Git
• Demonstrable expertise with CI/CD resources for pipeline formation and management to coordinate deploying and release management e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc
• Expertise with Cook, Puppet, or Ansible, automating every facet of system and steward management.
• Strong experience in the deploying of web apps based on Python,Vue.js and Node.js.
• Good comprehension of distributed operational structures and container technical solutions like Docker/Kubernetes container structure and orchestration.
• Expertise with DNS, Relationship building, and High Accessibility initiatives.
• Expertise with webservers in a linux environment, i.e. Nginx, Apache2 and methods for load balancing and SSL setup
• Good comprehension of tracking software which includes Prometheus and Grafana for steward supervising and updates
• Expertise using an array of automatic control resources, for backups, restoration, deploying, supervising, etc..
• Collaboration, issue resolution mindset, strategic judgment, client onboarding.
