Role summary

• As an integral member of the Local Government Zone technical team, the Data Service officer will strengthen the quality, thoroughness, and consolidation of HIV-associated data into national health information operational structures.
• The DSO will assist strong M&E operational structures, ensure precise and prompt status updates, and lead data-informed strategic judgment across helped facilities and group programs.
• Ensure finalize and precise recordkeeping of HIV/Helps service dispatch across all service points (HTS, ART, PMTCT, TB)
• Oversee recordkeeping of data from group program.
• Ensure routine status reports of electronic medical records using service dispatch forms
• Produce and upload data to the National Data Repository (NDR) and LAMISPlus Central Steward routine.
• Engage in every month government-guided Monitoring and evaluation sessions and data verification exercises.
• Oversee DECs and oversee special data/documentation requests from facility, LGA, state, or project teams.
• Preserve a proper stock of data collection resources.
• Assist the production of documentation and entry of data into the NDARS DHIS operational base.
• Carry out every month recordkeeping audits and flag zones for advancement.
• Ensure data triangulation across program levels.
• Evaluate facility and LGA effectiveness indicators.
• Help in all Monitoring and evaluation initiatives as allocated.
