QA / Quality assurance Engineer at Roadlamp Limited in Port Harcourt, Rivers

Position Overview

The Quality assurance/Quality control Head is in charge of making sure that all goods, solutions, and methods adhere with internal guidelines and compliance obligations in the petroleum sector servicing sector. The position includes conceptualizing and executing QA operational structures, carrying out inspections and audits, and managing with project teams to supply premium quality solutions in line with industry guidelines.

Work tasks

• Formulate, execute, and preserve Quality assurance/Quality control rules, standardized processes, and operational structures in line with ISO 9001 and industry-specific guidelines (e.g., API, ASME, NACE).
• Oversee Quality assurance/Quality control inspectors and organize quality assurance initiatives in-field and at external vendor/vendor facilities.
• Evaluate and authorize quality recordkeeping, which includes Assessment & Test Strategies (ITPs), method statements, and quality documented guides.
• Carry out within and outside the organization audits to guarantee adherence with binding, compliance-related, and organisation guidelines.
• Track excellent output and generate documentation with key effectiveness indicators (KPIs).
• Explore non-conformances and execute corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with customers, third-party inspectors, and accreditation bodies on all Quality assurance/Quality control matters.
• Engage in pre-certification and tendering methods by offering quality-associated input.
• Educate and train project teams on quality benchmarks and ongoing development programs.
• Ensure proper recordkeeping, traceability, and retention excellent quality records.

Role expectations

• Bsc in Engineering or a relevant field.
• 4 - 5years of expertise in the petroleum sector Industry as a Quality assurance/Quality control Engineer
• Solid understanding excellent quality Management Operational structures.
• Outstanding Executive guidance, Sharing information and Issue resolution Competencies
• Expertise with Assessment Resources, Running test Standardized processes and QAQC recordkeeping.
• Robust logical and Project coordination Capabilities.
• CSWIP, ASNT Level 2 and QMS accreditation.
• Required location Port Harcourt City.
