Job Description
The Position
The Roving Finance Organizer is in charge of accounting for MSI Nigeria Reproductive Choices’ financial data in line with resource control rules and execute assessments, recordkeeping, and settlement processes.
Primary duties
- Ensure sound financial regulates in all MSI Nigeria service dispatch Channels in the regional.
- Every quarter helpful oversight visits to Regional/State workspaces and verify that every regulates are in place and are operating productively.
- Backstopping and offering assist to Regional Financial officer on prompt and regular basis.
- Offer assistance during project audits.
- Assessments Every month financial matching statements for the regional bank accounts.
- Ensure proper Transaction Submitting System is preserved for all financial initiatives on SharePoint.
- Evaluate Financial Postings before they are posted into SUN and execute post assessments to recognize undetected errors for recode.
- Guidance the FM in upgradation of financial standardized processes and rules as and when necessary and on a prompt basis.
- Track Capital utilization against the per quarter budget for uniformity and to guarantee a proper Financial plan Financial difference assessment documentation/ settlement every month.
- Track Employees Accounts and track retirements periodically to guarantee all improvements taken are retired prompt.
- Actively engage in Every month financial statement calls and ensure vendors account are tracked and liquidated as soon as possible.
- Head in end of month documentation and verify that every financial record are capture into the financial system.
- Any other obligations as may be requested by the Finance Manager or any other Top level Executive team members
Expertise/Certification
- First Academic qualification (Second-class or higher) in Accounting or any other Finance associated subject
- 5-10 years post-service experience expertise in Accounting or relevant field in NGO and INGO.
- Practical understanding of different donors USAID, DFID and BMGF.
- Applicable specialist certification (ACA, ACCA).
- Must possess finished or about to finalize his/her Masters-Master of business administration, Master's degree, or other fields.
- Expertise in SUN or any financial system.
- Improve excel competencies preferred.
- Task juggling skill and oversee task volume, generate premium quality documentation.
- Good team players, adaptable while operating with other teammates.
- Outstanding verbal and professional writing competencies; fluent in English
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point Workspace
- Quick learning abilities
- Capability to oversee a high-level task volume and deliver within strict timelines.
- Capability to operate with minimal oversight.
