Role summary

• Degreed engineers. All in-field life extensions, repairs and assessment-associated service initiatives for installed fleets and oversight for building and initiating of current and prospective tools, capable to be carried out at client on-site. Comprises in-field machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, generator diagnostics.
• Capable to make Engineering decisions.
• Broadening expertise in own technical discipline to implement regulatory framework/plan. May comprise of assist positions with expert technical site of expertise; still obtaining higher level expertise and competencies.
• Basic comprehension of key business drivers; uses this comprehension to achieve own work. Good comprehension of how work of own team combines with other teams and supports to the zone.
• May possess some autonomy to make decisions within a defined structure. Addresses concerns in conditions that require good domain expertise and judgment within established standardized processes. Advises more top level team members for concerns outside of defined directions/parameters.
• A position at this level requires good people skills and may be necessary to head a entry-level team. For client facing positions, conceptualizes robust client connections and serves as the interface between client and GE. Describes technical information to others.
