Work tasks
- Carry out standard procedure inspections of sites to guarantee physical protection operational structures (locks, cameras, security officers) are in place and functioning
- Ensure adherence to Ntel’s corporate guard standardized processes, visitor regulate, and crisis-management procedures at regional sites
- Organize response to on-site-level threats, vandalism, or intrusions, and report to higher support tier where needed
- Take action promptly to on-site incidents, carry out preliminary inquiries, and produce documentation
- Record and report to higher support tier guard breaches, suspicious initiatives, and business risks to Guard Manager
- Track system issue practices and endorse prevention plans
- Oversee third-party security officer solutions at various sites to guarantee presence, discipline, and proper carry out
- Confirm change rosters, carry out spot checks, and preserve communication link with security officer organisation supervisors
- Evaluate security officer post effectiveness, patrol records, and logbooks
- Carry out periodic risk evaluations at critical system setups and new build sites
- Endorse and execute risk reduction measures to handle vulnerabilities
- Assist guard organizing for on-site rollouts, relocations, and upgrades in the South West
- Preserve robust operating connections with local police, DSS, civil defense, and other law enforcement
- Stand for Ntel in local guard briefings or during public involvement on safety-associated concerns
- Settle on-site-level guard disputes in a initiative-driven and specialist manner
- Guarantee adherence with internal status updates guidelines, patrol log status reports, and audit records
- Help in preserving current permits, licenses, and protection standards files
- Assist guard drills and employees development at local facilities.
Credentials and Expertise
- HND qualification (Higher national diploma) or Bsc in Guard Management, Criminology, Community-related Sciences, or relevant field
- 5+ years of expertise in industrial or site guard, ideally in telecom, logistics, or structure sectors
- Guard qualifications or paramilitary/military development a plus
- Prior expertise coordinating various distributed sites or mobile assets
- Understanding with South West region terrain, networks, and local risks.
Competencies & Skills:
- Site-based surveillance and issue resolution process
- Expertise in physical guard operational structures and security officer deploying procedures
- Robust interpersonal and dispute settlement competencies
- Outstanding status updates and professional writing abilities
- Good judgment, discretion, and capability to operate independently
- Foundational knowledge in Office productivity software (Word, Excel) and system issue analytics platforms.
