Janitor / Utility Attendant at Nuru Nigeria in Toungo, Adamawa

Position Overview

The role occupant shall be in charge of cleaning the workspaces and surroundings of the workspace in Toungo. He or She shall work in partnership with other room maintenance services attendants to guarantee the workspace indoor and outdoor environment is cleaned and kept tidy always. The role occupant shall also carry out standard procedure checks on the workspace facility and documentation as appropriate for suitable measures or actions. The position holder shall also advise the facility support on best ways to streamline the work for effectiveness and quality.

Work tasks

• Cleans rugs, tiles, restrooms, carpets and furniture using cleaning agents as offered by Nuru Nigeria
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, polishes floor, cobweb walls and ceiling moves.
• Pickup and wash dirty kitchen utensils.
• Sustains room maintenance services carts, sustains stock of room maintenance services amenities and documentation when there is need for replenishment.
• Clean all public zones in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating standardized processes.
• Documentation missing / found articles, loss or merchandise challenges to the suitable authority.
• Take action at all times in a friendly, supportive manner to Nuru Nigeria Employees and other teammates
• Take up any duty allocated by the supervisors as and when needed.
• Must be capable to operate independently and as a team player
• Advocate and assist Nuru Nigeria initiatives as necessary
• And any other responsibility as will be allocated by manager
