Position Goal

The Database administrator will be in charge of the execution, setup, servicing & maintenance, and effectiveness of critical ORACLE, POSTGRESQL and SQL Steward RDBMS operational structures and in some case, additional DB types like MySQL, to guarantee the accessibility and regular effectiveness of our corporate applications. This is a “practical” role requiring reliable specialized abilities, in addition to outstanding interpersonal and verbal abilities. Employees will be in charge of the development and sustainment of the DB and data Warehouse, making sure its deployment readiness (guard, health and effectiveness), carrying out data loads, and executing data modeling in assist of various development teams. The data warehouse aids an enterprise application suite of programme admin systems. Should be able to operate independently and jointly.

Obligations and Duties

• Oversee ORACLE, POSTGRESQL and SQL Steward databases through various product lifecycle environments, from development to purpose-critical generation operational structures.
• Set up and preserve DB servers and methods, which includes supervising of system health and effectiveness, to guarantee high levels of effectiveness, accessibility, and guard.
• Submit application data modelling methods to guarantee development and execution assist endeavors meet consolidation and effectiveness requirements

• Execute planned servicing & maintenance and assist release deploying initiatives after hours.
• Distribute domain and specialized skill, offering technical guidance and cross-development to other peers and team members.

Essential skills:

• Good expertise in ORACLE, POSTGRESQL and Microsoft SQL Steward Management expertise necessary.
• Expertise with Effectiveness Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native supervising and diagnosing issues resources. • Expertise with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Expertise in High Accessibility (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Steward.
• Expertise in Oracle data security officer tech and position switching processes.
