Backend engineer at Briskit Agency in Lagos

Overview

Briskit Agency is seeking a Backend engineer to architect and execute the backend structure for a function-rich status updates and process operational base. You'll be in charge of managing user positions, data governance, APIs, file uploads, requisitions, and more.

Primary duties

• Formulate secure, ability to scale RESTful APIs using Node.js (Express) or Django
• Execute user authentication with JWT and RBAC for various positions
• Build modules for requisitions, marketing lifecycle, vendor management, wallet financial record, and status updates
• Combine third-party APIs and Firebase alert solutions
• Manage file uploads and data validations with proper storage logic
• Compose unit and consolidation tests; preserve clean, recorded code.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development expertise (Node.js or Django)
• Deep knowledge of API design and data modeling
• Expertise with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Knowledgeable about Docker, cloud organizing (AWS/DigitalOcean), and Development-operations resources
• Competence in Git, version regulate, and Nimble structured approaches
• Expertise with file managing, chat/communication tone operational structures, and effectiveness optimization.
