Web and Product Design Associate at Webcoupers Nigeria in Yaba, Lagos

Position Overview

We are looking for a Product Design Associate to join our growing design team. This position requires robust graphics and engagement design competencies, a user-focused mentality, and practical experience operating with channels like WordPress/Shopify, as a content and product operational base.

Primary duties

• Assist the comprehensive product design methodology — which includes analysis, structural planning, interactive simulation, user running test, and concluding interface design
• Design and optimise WordPress/Shopify-based websites, concentrating on user efficiency, responsiveness, and user relation
• Team up with PMs, developers, and other participants to establish challenges and co-produce efficient initiatives
• Produce design assets which includes wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Carry out user analysis, evaluate findings, and submit application findings to enhance product user efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure uniformity with corporate identity standard procedures, availability guidelines, and responsive design industry standards
• Preserve and support to design operational structures and reusable parts for product uniformity and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 3 - 4 years of expertise in a product design, UI design, or UX design position
• Robust project sample demonstrating product design work across web and digital channels
• Practical expertise designing for WordPress or Shopify, which includes layout design, customisation, or theme consolidation
• Competence in Figma
• Comprehension of user-focused visual design rules, information architecture, and responsive design
• Basic expertise in HTML and CSS will be an added advantage
• Clear expression, partnership, and schedule control competencies
• Capability to integrate suggestions and iterate designs quickly based on team or user input.

Nice to Possess:

• Understanding with resources which includes Google Data analysis, Hotjar, or other conduct data analysis channels
• Expertise supporting to or coordinating a design framework
• Comprehension of availability guidelines (WCAG) and welcoming visual design rules
• Interest in learning about product plan and how creative directions effect business targets.
