Role summary

We are looking for a compassionate, proficient paediatrician to join our founding clinical team in Abuja and assist transform emerging direction of paediatric healthcare. The Medical practitioner will be in charge of offering complete primary and crisis care to pediatric patients, assisting clinical processes, and operating closely with nursing and analysis teams to guarantee quality and compassionate care. This position is vital in assisting us build a reliable medical foundation during the early stages of the hospital’s processes.

Duties

• Offer clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric patients, especially those with sickle cell disease or cancer
• Address and oversee pediatric crises
• Oversee and organize with nurses, lab technicians, and assistants
• Preserve precise and current medical records
• Help with admissions, discharges, and client recommendations
• Assist development and guidance of entry-level clinical employees
• Engage in health outreach and education initiatives
• Work alongside the analysis team on patient-based studies and recordkeeping

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent from a identified institution
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
• 2+ years of post-service experience hands-on patient care, ideally in pediatric medicine
• Expertise with sickle cell disease or pediatric hematology is a plus
• Robust clinical judgment and capability to operate under pressure
• Outstanding interpersonal and verbal abilities
• Readiness to operate in a new venture environment and serve underserved networks.
