Role summary
This position is in charge of executing inpatient and outpatient care, offering necessary recordkeeping on health documentation and discharge overviews of patients. Coordinating with with advisors regarding the offering of inpatient and outpatient care which includes diagnosis and medication strategies.
Duties
- To offer quality medical care to patients under the oversight of the HOD, Advisors and other top level medical employees.
- Executing managerial obligations and risk mitigation strategy.
- Evaluate records, documentation, test outcomes or examine patients to diagnose medical terms that are sophisticated and refer to suitable advisors for further care.
- Help advisors in executing cesarean sections or other surgical standardized processes as needed to maintain patient’s health.
- To guarantee complete, precise and brief medical records are collected and preserved for patients with an suitable signed and dated legible entry in the patient’s medical document on every presence upon a patient.
- Support to quality patient care by engaging in case organizing which comprises suitable pre-admission organizing, in-hospital care and discharge organizing.
- To organize inquiries, medical treatment and discharge as directed by the Top level Registrars or Advisor to which allocated.
- To be "on-call" is a requirement of the role.
Qualifications
- Applicant must have a Bsc in Medicine and surgery.
- Must possess a minimum of 1 - 3 years post service expertise as a Medical practitioner.
- Applicant must be authorized to practice medicine from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Affiliation of Nigeria.
- Applicant must be In-depth knowledge in General Medicine and other associated zones of medical practice.
- Must possess precious sympathetic bedside manners, robust active listening competencies and improved issue resolution abilities while being capable to operate in a team.
