• We are looking for a proficient, meticulous, and highly structured Instructional Designer to join the Learning Creative invention Department.
• This position plays a critical part in optimizing the quality of training and learning across all dispatch modalities – face-to-face, blended, and online – at the business school.
• The role aids faculty during planning phase and development of courses and instructional materials that reflect industry standards in pedagogy, andragogy, learning science, and teaching tech.

Obligations

The Instructional Designer will play a vital function in optimizing training and learning quality at Lagos Business School. The Instructional Designer will work jointly with faculty and Subject Matter Professionals (SMEs) to guarantee that course design is compelling, welcoming, academically thorough, and in sync with the school’s strategic learning targets in addition to industry needs. This comprises the application of adult learning theories, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and instructional design frameworks to enhance learner results and experiences.

Certification and Expertise

• The preferred candidate will have a Bsc in educational studies, Syllabus and Guidance, Instructional Design, Teaching Tech, or a associated discipline. A MSC in a associated discipline is desirable.
• Cognate expertise of 3-4 years in instructional design fundamentals is essential. Competence in Moodle, Google Lead (which includes Google Docs and Sheets), Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint are crucial. Proficiency with graphic visual design rules is desirable. Understanding with ID models is also preferred.
• Applicants should show outstanding verbal and professional writing competencies to operate productively with employees and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency and skills in instructional design, the application of teaching development, and adult learning theory are necessary.
• Expertise in industry standards in instructional technical solutions, online, blended, and face-to-face pedagogy is crucial.
• Ability in designing and supplying capacity-building plans that concentration on instructional tech and procedures used in the advancement of instructional performance is essential.
• A demonstrable expertise in website design principles and expertise producing web pages is desirable.
• Expertise in learning management operational structures is also necessary.
