Infrastructure engineer at Daystar Power Group in Lagos

Position Overview

We are seeking to participate a skilled and skilled Infrastructure engineer who will be in charge of Applications Management, Software Development, exploring Technical solutions which includes AI & Hyper-automatic control and steward as the IT Business Management process head. In addition, He or She would also train citizen developers in Low/No-code resources development. The position scope covers service management initiatives, Cloud business landscapes with many consolidation points; and the consolidation of the mutually-reliant solutions of multifaceted within and outside the organization service vendors into comprehensive solutions which supply value to Daystar from the Lagos - Nigeria workspace. We are looking for a diligent, self-driven, and well-structured individual with a concentration on ongoing development to surpass goals.

Primary duties

• Convert operational qualifications into technical requirements with input from subject matter professionals and Design Authority.
• Comprehension organizational needs to aviator and prototype new initiatives and technical solutions, which includes procurement, setup, development, presentation, and deploying.
• Oversee sophisticated consolidation scenarios and interfaces between cloud and legacy operational structures.
• Design, development, running test and execution of digital platforms designed for web apps.
• Ensure the best possible effectiveness, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Recognize/accurate bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• In charge of preserving code quality, company, and automatic control.
• Collaborate with the product and User experience Team to formulate UX optimization.
• Utilize AWS and Power BI for data purchase, transformation, and visualization. Automate key operational workflows using Power Apps and resources like Python.
• Support to operational superiority in terms of definition and servicing & maintenance of guidelines, methods and resources, bringing in industry standards from market standard implementations.
• Assist Projects and Assist teams in all phases of the software lifecycle, which includes needs assessment, evaluation, design, coding, running test, execution, and generation assist for software operational structures.
• Mentor business users on low/no-code resources to automate their own methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/ MSC in ICT, Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. Applicants with degrees in other subjects but with robust practical domain accomplishments and applicable qualifications in the zones listed above are also acceptable.
• At least Five (5) years of related experience in Application Dispatch & Assist, Development-operations and Consolidation technical solutions.
• Skilled in using Power Apps and Power BI.
• Demonstrable expertise/ability in React.js, Next.js, GitHub and Python.
• Proven subject matter proficiency operating with cloud technical solutions like Azure/AWS Operational base, MongoDB.
• Expertise in assisting a multifaceted application landscape, which includes adjustment management, application running test, information accuracy management, patch management and final user assist and development.
• ITIL Accreditation (preferred).
• Expertise in Nimble structured approaches and resources which includes Graphics Studio Team Solutions (VSTS) and the use to run scrum sessions.
