Job Description

Duties

  • Offer engineering guidance for all LMG-associated initiatives and offer onboarding to state teams on the execution of the project.
  • Oversee the execution of LMG technical initiatives at supporting levels of the health system, making sure that all initiatives are adequately executed in a prompt fashion and that they adequately handle management, executive guidance, and compliance needs at the different levels of the system, especially inside the Local Government Health Governing bodies, States & Federal Ministries of Health to meet the requirements of associates and other participants.
  • Track LMG development and in-field skills development initiatives, making sure the development of local institutional and personal capacities needed to preserve and assist the programme.
  • Coordinate the evaluate of technical documentation conceptualize by other team members and/or advisors, making sure the quality of fulfilled goods and that documentation/strategic guidance are accordingly disseminated among associates.
  • Ensure the development of consistent activity status reports and their on-time delivery to the funder, and the development of every quarter and yearly advancement documentation, financial statements and other documentation, as necessary, to be provided to MSH country workspace.
  • Build and preserve robust operating relations with key within and outside the organization participants, recipients.
  • Offer efficient and prompt responses to questions and matters. Identify and pursue new and long-term alliances in the public and private sectors to improve programme targets and encourage creativity.
  • Commute routinely to the site to offer direction and assist to Project site employees (approximately 25%)
  • Execute other obligations as allocated.

Credentials

  • Postgraduate degree (Master's, PhD) in Community health, International Development, Statistics, Public Management, or relevant field necessary.  
  • At least 10 years of progressively in charge expertise is desirable.
  • Over 15 years of expertise in health operational structures management, health care funding, and health regulatory framework, plan, programme design and supervising, and assessment, executive guidance, and compliance and health operational structures strengthening firmly preferred, especially in conceptualizing countries.
  • Competence in PHC effectiveness supervising, Outcomes Based Funding approaches.
  • Comprehensive local expertise in the Nigerian health sector, programme design and execution which includes health operational structures management.
  • Exhibited executive and planning abilities in a conceptualizing country setting with adaptive schedule to adjust to evolving key focuses and due dates.
  • Exhibited strategic quickness, diplomacy, dispute management, team building, documented and spoken communication information exchange, and bargaining ability.
  • Must possess demonstrated expertise directing and training technical and executive employees for similar health projects in conceptualizing countries.
  • Expertise arranging and operating with teams to generate premium quality outputs.
  • Previous collaborate with international Nonprofit organizations and donor financed projects in difficult settings.
  • Good expertise and expertise of the health system of Nigeria.
  • Specialist documented and spoken communication competence in English is essential.
  • Remarkable abilities in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Robust spoken communication and professional writing and demonstrations competencies in English.
