Job Description

Objective of the task

The objective of this ToR is to participate TA assist that will serve as assist to the site assistants in high burden LGAs due to the large number of facilities, SMC staff to guarantee proper coverage of households during execution. The high burden LGAs are 2 LGAs of Bauchi state (Bauchi and Katagum), 2 LGAs of Borno state (MMC and Jere), 4 LGAs of Kebbi state (Danko Wasagu, Birnin Kebbi, Bagudo and Arewa LGAs) of Kebbi State, 2 LGAs in Plateau State (Jos North and South LGAs) and 1 LGA in Sokoto state (Kebbe LGA).

Scope

The position of LGA Technical Support is to guarantee quality execution of dispatch of SMC solutions at the group level by HFW/supervisors and CDDs through the on-time completion of SMC products and inventory, offering of helpful oversight, on the position skills development and recordkeeping of programme initiatives. S/he delivers helpful oversight and development to the above actors and ensures compliance to SMC management procedures. The candidate interacts with the State Ministry of Health, LGA executive team, keeps them current on the programme advancement and ensures premium quality SMC execution in high burden LGAS which includes 2 LGAs of Bauchi state (Bauchi and Katagum), 2 LGAs of Borno state (MMC and Jere), 4 LGAs of Kebbi state(Danko Wasagu, Birnin Kebbi, Bagudo and Arewa LGAs), of Kebbi State, 2 LGAs in Plateau State (Jos North and South LGAs) and 1 LGA in Sokoto state (Kebbi LGA).

Outputs:

  • Complete End of Cycles Documentation within two days after execution.
  • Finalize Reverse Logistics of used and unused SPAQ after each cycle.
  • Check in on Staff payment.
  • Participate all Sessions at LGA level (organizing meeting, EOC, DVM).
  • Assist SPAQ allocation to HF from the LGA transit point.

Credentials and Expertise

  • Clinical Officer, nursing officer, community-related science, science, or any other Community health-associated certification with a minimum of five year’s site expertise in SMC execution.
  • Fluency in English, Hausa/Fulani and/or other local languages is essential.
  • Expertise operating in drug/goods stock management, Monitoring and evaluation and logistics.
  • Capability to convey productively with a range of target groups which includes LGA employees, HFW and group key stakeholders.
  • Must be knowledgeable about the use of Survey CTO and Ms office tools.
  • Expertise in carrying out quality helpful oversight and data use.
