Job Description
Position Overview
The Cocktail expert (mixologist) will head the innovative development, visual communication, and dispatch of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for Mai Shayi. This position blends artistry and technical ability in drink formulation, while making sure an exceptional customer experience and reinforcing the corporate identity’s unique identity.
Primary duties
- Design and craft creative beverages which includes signature cocktails, mocktails, infused drinks, and Nigerian-motivated blends using both alcoholic and non-alcoholic ingredients.
- Curate and modify seasonal and themed drink menus in line with corporate identity aspiration.
- Preserve uniformity in recipe implementation across sites and assist recipe recordkeeping.
- Carry out beverage tastings, bar employees development, and rollout of new drink programs.
- Ensure bar/lab stations are structured, sanitized, and well-stocked with quality-regulated ingredients and bar resources.
- Work alongside the culinary team for pairing menus and flavor consolidation.
- Stay informed on worldwide beverage practices, mixology advancements, and local preferences.
- Oversee in charge service of alcohol and ensure full adherence with local legal provisions and in-house rules.
- Engage clients during events or tasting experiences and collect response for Research & development.
- Oversee stock, bar costing, and loss regulate.
