Job Description
Primary goal
Helps the flight organizer with the various duty necessary to organize, track, and unify the MSF flights, supporting to the effectiveness of the flight process. It requires systematic inter-action with other interlocutors, which includes airport governing bodies and other humanitarian air operators in the country.
Role summary
- Strategize arrange and organize all managerial and logistics initiatives regarding the finalize managing of an MSFaircraft in the Airport in partnership with the Flight-organizer.
- Arrange information exchange and business network between MSF Air Processes / MSF in the Airport and be the delegate of MSF with all governing bodies participated in International Airport in partnership with the Flight-organizer.
- Arrange information exchange and business network between MSF Air Processes / MSF and be the delegate of MSF with the Civil Aviation Governing bodies, guard bodies, and the technical departments of the Governing bodies participated in our Air Processes in partnership with the Flight-organizer.
- Engage fully in sessions with other Air Operators and governing bodies regarding safety or others and documentation to the Flight-Co.
- Coordinates the dispatch (weather, guard, runway requirement, payload) of the flights in partnership with the Flight Organizer, to guarantee smooth running of the flight.
- Offer technical and managerial assist to the Flight-co in every facet of the execution of an MSF aircraft.
- Engage fully in the technical company of the flights.
- Be the delegate of MSF for the MSF passengers in the International Airport of Abuja about all flights, which transport MSF personal, and cargo.
- Compose and work alongside in the edition of standard procedures for all methods in engagement to Air Processes in Nigeria.
- Follow and inform about all status reports concerning flight processes.
- Files all documents and compose all documentation (routine, on a weekly basis, and every month) connected with the flights in the submitting operational structures to preserve an precise DB.
- Other duty and duties as may be assigned by the Flight Organizer, relying on needs.
- Reservation of all MSF passengers and cargo in MSF internal reservation system.
- Organize flight plans to different airports in the country in accordance with aviation regulations and safety.
- Sustains and conceptualizes connections at national level with governing bodies, airport delegate and other humanitarian operators.
- Make sure that necessary approval and flight clearances are acquire in efficient timeframe if aircraft needs to fly back to base for overhaul.
- Unify and process all aviation bills to finance for payment (fuel, managing, navigation charges)
- Regulate and submitting of all post flight documents.
- Make sure that all sites are informed of the advancement of the aircraft once its airborne, and when landed.
- Arranges with logistics at different airports to pick up and transport passengers to their sites.
- Help the flight organizer in organizing sessions with governing bodies.
- At once answer to FlightCo any description if incidents/accidents occur to MSF employees, crew, or aircraft.
- Capable to analyze weather, notice to pilots (male) (NOTAMs) and other circulars disseminated by civil aviation for the safe, productive, and safe process of the MSF flight.
- Offer flight following and flight monitor during flight advancement using the flight following/monitor resources.
Qualifications Education:
Crucial: Academic qualification with specialization in flight dispatch, flight processes, aviator or air traffic regulate.
Expertise:
Airport processes, flight planning, client support, airline processes, records entry and management.
Languages
Crucial: Fluency in English. Preferred: Expertise in aviation technical terminologies
