Job Description

Position Objective

  • With direction from the Health and dietary Manager, the Primary Health coordinator will head the Borno site workspace health teams in executing health programs with a concentration on IMCI, SRH, and NCD with a complete group-level health participation.
  • The technical direction will be offered in accordance with Nigeria's national standard procedures.
  • The Primary Health coordinator will make regular site visits to the site sites to guarantee the highest guidelines of service dispatch.
  • S/he will ensure premium quality clinical solutions in all SC-helped health facilities.
  • S/he will track service standard, verify that every employees are prepared, and well helped, pharmaceuticals and other medical inventory are properly handled, and submit application clinical level data to national level standard enhancement endeavors.
  • This position will also engage depiction of the company in various forums which includes Health Sector Operating Groups, consortium associates, SMOH, SPHCMB, State Hospital Management Board, and LGA authority.

Programme assist:

  • Oversee and organize all initiatives under the health part across the execution zones 
  • Head the development of project execution resources e.g DIP, BvA
  • Coordinate the execution of every month work strategies for health programs in communication link with site-based health employees
  • Assist in arranging and managing technical evaluate sessions with site-based employees on a every quarter basis
  • Engage in applicable every month technical operating group sessions planned by MOH.
  • Ensures quality clinical discussions, treatment, referral, and client engagement initiatives follow the National and WHO procedures
  • Collaborate with the health team in the site to enhance standard procedure EPI in the catchment zones by building their capacities.
  • Track and advance the consolidation of health and dietary initiatives for maximum effect
  • Coordinate partnership and consolidation between Health, Nutrition, WASH, and FSL in project development and execution
  • Assist health-associated business analysis as necessary
  • In partnership with site-based health and Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning teams, support to recordkeeping and distribution of lessons learned and industry standards
  • Work in partnership with site-based health teams during the formation of case studies and success stories on a every month basis
  • Collaborate with site-based health teams and guarantee standard benchmarks are utilized in service dispatch
  • Support to the accomplishment of CO health-associated KPI.

Support and synchronization:

  • Depiction of SCI in applicable channels as assigned by the Health and dietary Manager (Child Health Technical Operating Group, Vaccination channels, COVID-19, Crisis responders, and others)
  • Stand for the company to the UN, health cluster, international and national Nonprofit organizations, and Ministry of Health at health synchronization sessions in addition to other sessions that are applicable to country programs and improve the entities' visibility
  • Engage in SC regional and worldwide technical sessions concentrating on child survival, maternal newborn health, adolescent health, clinical compliance, and supporting Group of Practice sessions.
  • Ensure suitable and regular health-associated education and support communication tone to key actors which includes donors, Cluster, SCI employees, associates, mothers, and other carers at all programming reach out points.

Health data management:

  • Collaborate with site-based HMIS officers in prompt status updates of data into the national health management system DHIS2 every month
  • Collaborate with the Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning team to formulate effectiveness practices for key service dispatch effectiveness indicators
  • Coordinate data evaluate sessions with health teams in analyzing periodic advancement against prioritized key effectiveness indicators in child health, maternal newborn health, adolescent health, and disease surveillance.

Other:

 The post holder may be in charge of additional duty and obligations and when necessary to assist the entire Country Program, and regional and chief workspace key focuses.

  • Robust interpersonal and verbal abilities
  • Capability to operate in a collaborative environment and show adaptive schedule, inspiration, and maturity

  • Readiness to commute extensively in the site.
  • English linguistic ability
  • Good expertise in quality benchmarks and quality regulates connected with medical practice.

Additional Credentials:
