Position Overview

We are looking for a proficient and inspired Electrical systems engineer with 3–5 years of expertise in the solar energy industry. The preferred candidate will be in charge of designing, conceptualizing, and executing electrical operational structures and initiatives for solar power projects, making sure quality, effectiveness, and legal adherence.

Primary duties

  • Design and formulate electrical operational structures and layouts for solar PV system setups (on-grid and off-grid).
  • Execute load calculations, system sizing, and tools selection.
  • Oversee and organize the installation, initiating, and servicing & maintenance of solar power operational structures.
  • Carry out on-site evaluations and viability assessments.
  • Organize and evaluate technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and requirements.
  • Guarantee adherence possessing applicable electrical and safety guidelines (NEC, IEC, etc.).
  • Diagnose issues system concerns and offer IT assistance.
  • Work alongside PMs, technicians, and customers for smooth project implementation.
  • Organize project records, documentation, and handover documented guides.

Qualifications

  • Bsc in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
  • 3 - 5 years of demonstrated expertise in solar power operational structures design and execution.
  • Solid understanding of solar PV operational structures, inverters, charge managers, batteries, and grid consolidation.
  • Competence in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar solar creative applications.
  • Comprehension of national and international electrical codes and guidelines.
  • Robust issue resolution and verbal abilities.
  • Capability to commute to project sites as necessary.
  • Accreditation in Sustainable Energy or Solar PV installation (e.g., NABCEP, SON) is a plus.
