Flutter Mobile engineer at Revent Technologies Limited in Lagos

Position Overview

• We are seeking a Top level Mobile engineer with robust competence in Flutter and practical experience building applications for Android POS devices (e.g., Topwise, Nexgo, PAX).
• This position will head the development of mobile and POS applications across key financial technology and payment-associated projects.
• The preferred candidate is a self-motivated mobile specialist who can work across Flutter and native Android environments, and is cozy combining device-specific SDKs and payment capabilities.

Duties

• Duties: Coordinate the development of mobile apps using Flutter for both standard Android devices and Android-based POS terminals. 
• Combine POS terminal SDKs (e.g., Topwise, Nexgo, PAX) for managing card payments, printers, scanners, and hardware interfaces. 
• Work alongside cross-operational teams (backend, product, User interface/User experience) to supply performant and user-friendly applications. 
• Preserve clean, ability to scale, and secure codebases for both mobile and POS channels. 
• Execute hardware-level integrations through serial, USB, or Bluetooth procedures as required. 
• Engage in sprint organizing, technical discussions, and code assessments. Enhance applications for effectiveness, battery usage, and hardware restrictions. Offer training to entry-level developers and assist industry standards in mobile development. 
• Formulate and preserve system manuals, which includes architecture diagrams and technical advisors

Qualifications

• 5+ years of specialist mobile development expertise. 
• Robust practical experience with Flutter (Dart). 
• Practical understanding of native Android development (Kotlin/Java). 
• 2+ years of expertise building apps for Android POS devices (Topwise, Nexgo, PAX, or similar). 
• Expertise combining payment SDKs and operating with hardware APIs (e.g., printers, scanners). 
• Deep knowledge of mobile app architecture, guard, and deploying procedures. 
• Understanding with mobile CI/CD resources and OTA modify plans. 
• Comprehension of PCI-DSS or other adherence qualifications. 
• Understanding with AIDL, Android Solutions, and low-level device information exchange. Outstanding analytical abilities, with the capability to troubleshoot sophisticated concerns Clear expression and recordkeeping competencies.
• Expertise operating in Nimble teams and using resources like Jira, Git, and GitHub Actions. 
• Expertise combining with Nigerian payment industry players, which includes NIBSS, Interswitch, and Unified Payment Solutions Limited. 

Nice to Possess: 

Expertise with React Native (if Flutter is not accessible).  Bsc in Computer Science or relevant field
