Position Overview

The Heavy Responsibility Automotive technician is in charge of the servicing & maintenance, fix, and servicing of heavy-responsibility vehicles and machinery which includes trucks, bulldozers, excavators, cranes, and graders. The position ensures all tools is operating safely, productively, and in adherence with business guidelines.

Duties

• Executing standard procedure servicing & maintenance on heavy-responsibility tools and vehicles.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical concerns on machinery.
• Carrying out repairs and replacing impaired or worn parts as needed.
• Running test repaired tools for proper effectiveness.
• Keeping servicing & maintenance records and updating service data records.
• Interpreting technical documented guides, schematics, and diagnostic codes.
• Carrying out inspections and recognizing possibility concerns before they become key challenges.
• Operating various hand and power resources.
• Making sure adherence with health, safety, and ecological rules.
• Responding to crisis fix calls and executing site service when necessary.

Qualifications

• Trade accreditation or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Tech, or relevant field.
• At least 3–5 years of expertise as a heavy-responsibility automotive technician.
• Competence in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic operational structures, and brake operational structures.
• Capability to operate independently and under pressure in outdoor and workshop environments.
• Solid understanding of safety procedures and standardized processes.
• Good physical stamina and documented guide dexterity.
