Position Overview
The Milk Collection Center Organizer will be accountable for managing the day-to-day activities of the center, making sure the smooth routine collection of milk from dairy suppliers and stock of same to the processor, and oversee the cleaner to guarantee the center is clean and meets workplace safety and wellness requirements. The MCC Handler will collaborate with the MCC manager to recognize and engage new herder networks and cattle farms to guarantee a maintainable stock of fresh milk to the center.
Primary Processes & Duties
- Sustain stock of fresh milk to the center through regular relation with the herder networks, business-related farms, and other suppliers
- Collaborate with the herder productivity site team to recognize specific development and re-development needs for herders
- Collaborate with the quality organizer to record data during milk collection, i.e., the volume of milk supplied by each herder/entrepreneur, test outcomes,
- Preserve and modify (where necessary) DB of milk suppliers
- Organize on a weekly basis and every month documentation using the template offered.
- Organize a on a weekly basis payment timetable for milk supplied and distribute it with the financial officer for processing.
- Preside over the connection between the MCC and all the milk suppliers in a way that not only attracts more suppliers to the centers but ensures retention of these suppliers
- Carry out any other responsibility that the MCC manager may allocate.
Basic Credentials
A Bsc in a applicable field, which includes entrepreneurship, agribusiness, or business management.
Preferred Credentials:
- At least 1 year expertise post service operating in a milk collection center/ food or FMCG in-store outlet.
- Capability to use online platforms and applications – MS Word, MS Excel, AppSheet, etc.
- Expertise in operating in rural networks and coordinating participants
- Capability to evaluate, analyze, and convey data to a non-technical audience
- Robust documented and spoken communication verbal abilities and expertise generating clear and brief documentation in English language
- Necessary Languages: Skilled in English and Yoruba
- Commute: 10%
