Purpose

Explanation

• Lead day-day regulatory adherence in the region and engage system issue marshals to do same for sites without safety supervisor.
• Guidance and Assist MTN Regional Management and Employees on Outcomes from Audits / Risk Evaluations Connected with the items listed Zones: - Work Zones, Process, Critical Roles, Critical Duty to guarantee Safe Operating Environment at All Times.
• Carry out Consistent Safety Surveillance to Recognize Risks and Proactively Prevent Incidents. 
• Evaluate and convey safety scorecard/ targets to regional employees for process in line with mtn safety yearly strategy and assess vendor safety effectiveness in the region.
• Co-Ordinate Safety and Room maintenance services Audits on MTN Facilities, And on Vendor’s Workspaces/ Sites as the need arises, to check adherence with authorized safety guidelines and/or applicable local legislation and industry standard. Also, co-Ordinate pre-mobilization audits for customers within zone of coverage.
• Engage fully through offering of guidance and assist during regional system issue investigative to establish root cause, cascade lateral learnings and make strategic guidance to reduce re-occurrence.  
• Track MTNN service providers on safety concerns and guarantee adherence with MTNN safety regulatory framework qualifications.
• Generate on a weekly basis and every month safety results summary on the regional initiatives to assist the entire safety targets and every quarter regional results summary.
• Engage during the formation and evaluate of safety methods and standardized processes by making sure that recordkeeping is done in line with safety guidelines and/or industry standard.
• Supervise initiatives of direct documentation and verify that every financial record and managerial recordkeeping is documented and accessible for business use.
• Guarantee promptness solution of all relevant/ applicable internal matters within scope
• Offer Safety assist and direction throughout all initiatives.

Qualifications Education:

First Academic qualification in any Sciences or Engineering or Arts / Humanities Master's degree or Master of business administration in applicable field is a plus.

Expertise:

• 3 - 7 years related experience in SHE Management / Synchronization
• Membership of Institute of Safety Experts of Nigeria (ISPON), and any other identified Health, safety, and environment Company
• NEBOSH International General Certification and/or ISO 45001 Head Audit officer’s Course Certification
• Expertise operating in a medium company 
• Expertise in Specialist Safety, Health and Environment Processes, with good exposure/level of expertise in Health, safety, and environment
• Skilled in MS Workspace Applications and other Microsoft resources
• Capability to use and comprehend SHE applications and applications, and submit application it to operate.
