Position Overview

We are looking for a driven and devoted Cook De Partie to join our culinary team at our fine dining dining venue. This position is preferred for an striving cook who wants to gain practical experience in a high-end, dynamic kitchen environment where meticulousness, quality, and creativeness are paramount.

Primary duties

• Oversee and assume responsibility of a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry, or garnish).
• Organize, chef, and show premium quality dishes that convey the essence of dining venue’s fine dining guidelines.
• Oversee and assist Commis Chefswithin your section, making sure they follow proper methods and standardized processes.
• Preserve rigid hygiene and food safety guidelines in line with HACCP and hotel rules.
• Ensure mise en place is structured, stocked, and prepared before each service.
• Help during the formation of new dishes and support creative thoughts for menu organizing.
• Track food inventory levels and ensure proper rotation and minimal waste.
• Convey productively with other kitchen sections to guarantee smooth service processes.
• Uphold the corporate values and repeatedly stand for the dining venue's standard of superiority.
• Educate and train entry-level kitchen employees to assist their career advancement.

Qualifications

• Certification or academic qualification in Culinary Arts or equivalent a member of a professional body.
• At least 2 - 3years of specialist kitchen expertise, which includes a minimum of 1 year as a CDP in a fine dining or premium experience hospitality setting.
• Solid understanding of food generation methods and visual communication.
• Capability to head a section and work as part of a larger kitchen team.
• Outstanding meticulousness, planning abilities, and schedule control.
• High standard of personal hygiene and specialist appearance.
