Position Overview

The Head engineer manages all engineering processes for our Sugar production operations factory and its connected plantation. This position includes coordinating the servicing & maintenance, process and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and processing tools to guarantee effecient and uninterrupted generation. 

Primary duties

  • Head Engineer is to guarantee the safe and productive process of the Engineering Department and proper servicing & maintenance of vessels, plant and tools
  • The candidate is in charge of sustaining business guidelines which includes organizing, servicing & maintenance/fix of all mechanical and electrical equipments.
  • Head a team of Engineers and technicians, making sure adherence with sefaty and ecological guidelines, and cordinating with other departments which includes generation, agriculture and logistics,
  • The duty of the Head Engineer is to manage the Organized Servicing & maintenance System. The Head Engineer shall manage the SMS financial plan which includes buying and ensure budgetary regulate is preserved by all operational units.
  • The Head Engineer is in charge of all fixed and portable fire-fighting equipments.
  • Their duties also comprise of the organizing and data recording of operating hours for the engine guest accommodation crew and the company of the on-board safety development programmer for crises in close teamwork with the Head Officer and the Safety supervisor.
  • The Head Engineer is in charge of the servicing & maintenance of technical process records/files and for keeping a sufficient inventory of bunkers and lubricants in addition to ordering according to Organisation Standardized processes.
  • The Head Engineer's duties also comprise of the assessment of reported nonconformity, necessary corrective actions and verifications, as necessary by OOS International’s Combined Management System, in teamwork with the Master/ OIM.
