Position Overview

We are recruiting a proficient Solar Installation Engineer to oversee solar projects, design proposals, and formulate technical/material initiatives. The position documentation to the Project Implementation Leader and requires design, organizing, and optimization of solar operational structures for multifaceted customer needs.

Primary duties

  • Link solar operational structures to the grid; install grounding, regulates & carry out running test.
  • Design inverter operational structures tailored to customers’ energy needs.
  • Carry out engineering on-site audits for solar project design.
  • Endorse and evaluate engineering requirements.
  • Produce and analyze solar installation strategies and part mapping.
  • Diagnose issues installation concerns and execute repairs.
  • Design cost-efficient solar engineering initiatives.
  • Weatherproof system setups per local codes and manufacturer specs.
  • Install, preserve, and fix solar panels, batteries, and aids.
  • Design electrical panels for productive power management.
  • Teach customers on solar energy and safety.
  • Enhance solar PV design for effectiveness and cost.
  • Recognize solar/sustainable energy commercial opportunities.
  • Strategy and formulate servicing & maintenance programs for customers/internal teams.
  • Implement ground-mounted solar projects comprehensive.
  • Evaluate on-site practicality and endorse appropriate initiatives.
  • Head technical evaluation, viability assessments, and design projects.
  • Manage other duty as allocated.

Credentials & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics & Electronics, or associated.
  • 5 years of expertise in the sustainable energy sector.
  • Robust electronics diagnosing issues and system solution.
  • Expertise in PV operational structures, Air conditioning/DC design, metering, relay protection, and interrelation.
  • Competence in SketchUp, PVsyst, and other solar design resources.
  • Self-driven with the capability to oversee various projects.
  • Robust corporate and prioritization competencies.
  • Specialist, prompt correspondence with customers.
